- make it something that is easy to learn
- ensure it can be played by people of all ages
- it must not cost a lot of money to play, and
- most of all, it MUST be a lot of fun for everyone involved.
Welcome to the "perfect sport" - PICKLEBALL, the game with the "funny name" that checks all the above boxes.
The Brisbane Bayside Pickleball Club runs weekly pickleball sessions at venues throughout the beautiful bayside suburbs of Brisbane.
Each week, our members (and their family and friends), have a "ball" playing this addictive sport. Our pickleball sessions range from beginner "come 'n' try" sessions, and social sessions through to competitive league play.
Our facilities all have lighting, allowing us to run both day and night time pickleball sessions.
Whether you are a "hit & giggle" player or a serious competitive player, all our sessions are fun, social, and very friendly.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia (and the world) and our club is growing from strength to strength.

Weekly Sessions
We run a number of permanent weekly pickleball sessions to feed your pickleball addiction.
Our sessions tend to be very popular so make sure you book your spot early to avoid missing out.
Our pickleball sessions are kept as affordable as we can make them:
- $5 for members (click here to become a member of our great club)
- $10 for non-members/visitors

I noticed the pickleball group on Meetup and I thought it was something I would like to try. It’s been a wonderful experience. The pickleball players have ben so welcoming, patient and friendly. I’m really enjoying the social side and have quickly become addicted to the game. I’d love to go to the US or South America for a pickleball holiday.

Like most, I googled Pickleball and found an indoor venue in my next door suburb of Coorparoo. Went to watch and the enthusiastic welcoming players soon had me on the court. Loved the game since. Play regularly and have introduced many family and friends to Pickleball as a great social and healthy activity.

My first introductory session was fun and it was easier than I thought! Quite diverse ages from 40-73 in our group. The instructor Mark was very helpful and patient with us and by the end of the session we were playing an actual game... Definitely coming back to play again!
