Welcome all to the June/July 2026 edition of the Brisbane Bayside Pickleball Club newsletter!

Big couple of months on court.

Our Interclub Tournament against Redbank Pickleball was a standout day at Victoria Point State High School — over 90 players across three skill divisions (under 3.0, 3.0–3.5, 3.5+) competing in gender and mixed doubles. BBPC came out on top, 56 games to 46. A return match is already in the works, so stay tuned.

The Queensland Championships are done and dusted, and once again our members did the club proud. Full details inside.

Winter's well and truly here, so warm up properly and stretch before you step on court. We want to see you at every session, not on the sidelines nursing an injury.

Looking ahead: RedFest (formerly the Redlands Strawberry Festival) is on in mid-September, and we're after volunteers to help run our demo pickleball court and man our gazebo to talk with attendees. The event is a 2 day and if you could spare a couple of hours of your time, it would go a long way and be very much appreciated — details inside.
